Refund & Return Policy
At Printyrug, we take pride in the craftsmanship of every custom rug we produce. Because our products are made-to-order specifically for you, we have tailored our refund process to be as simple and hassle-free as possible.
1. The "Keep It" Refund Policy
Unlike traditional retailers, we do not require you to ship your rug back to us. Shipping heavy rugs is expensive and environmentally taxing. If your order arrives damaged, defective, or significantly different from what you ordered, we prefer to let you keep the item and issue a refund or a free replacement. This saves you the time and effort of repackaging and visiting a shipping center.
2. Eligibility for a Refund
To be eligible for a refund or a free replacement, please contact us within 14 days of delivery if:
- Manufacturing Defects: The rug has structural flaws, printing errors, or incorrect dimensions.
- Shipping Damage: The rug was damaged during transit.
- Wrong Item: You received a design or size different from what you ordered.
3. How to Submit a Claim
Because we do not require a physical return, we require digital verification to process your request. Please email support@printyrug.com with the following:
- Order Number (e.g., #PR1234).
- Clear Photos of the issue (close-up of the defect and a full-length shot of the rug).
- Photo of the shipping label still attached to the packaging (if possible).
Once our team reviews the photos (usually within 2 business days), we will offer you a full refund or a one-time free replacement.
4. Exceptions / Non-Refundable Items
As all rugs are custom-made to order, we cannot offer refunds for:
- Buyer’s Remorse: "I changed my mind" or "I don't like the look in my room."
- Size Errors: If the size ordered does not fit your space (please measure carefully!).
- Color Variance: Slight variations in color are normal due to monitor settings and printing processes.
- Sale Items: Items purchased during "Final Sale" clearance events.
5. Processing Time
Approved refunds are processed immediately. It typically takes 5–10 business days for the credit to appear on your original payment method.
